The Craven & District Cricket League was formed in 1888.
It is loosely based around Skipton in North Yorkshire. It stretches from Chatburn in Lancashire to Denholme Nr Bradford, and Haworth Road Methodists at Baildon Bottom
It is one of only three Leagues that have white and red rose clubs - the others being the Lancashire League which has Todmorden, and the Ribblesdale League which has Settle. We have 4 Lancashire clubs - Chatburn, Pendle Forest S.C., Barrowford, and Foulridge.
In 2006, Eldwick & Gilstead joined from the Bradford Central League
The League set up is now the top four division with 12 teams and the fifth division with 14 teams
As the half way point in the Mewies Solicitors Craven & District Cricket League is reached it is Bradley who sits atop of the First Division whilst champions Cullingworth languish in eighth place
